Should we disable public access to those not logged in?

We current are public with only the fedi meta forum limited to logged in users only.

I could disable all not logged in views to go along with switching to an invite based system, that way we can post comfortably but then could no longer share links to threads on fedi.

Maybe not the entire forum but just a private category like maybe Space Chat. I think there’s good to be done with compiling useful information in public threads.
